Party Bus Rentals

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

When you book a party bus there are a few tips that can help make your experience a really good one.  It is your special occasion - a birthday, bachelorette party or Prom and you want to make sure the party bus is super fun and super nice.

1.  Ask the YEAR of the party bus.  Because the body style hasn't changed on buses - you could be renting a 10-20 year old party bus that has "been around the block", literally.  This can help you compare apples to apples when looking at your party bus rental hourly charges.

2.  Find out if the company has the proper insurance.  When you have a vehicle that carries 15 or more passengers - by Federal law you must have a $5 million commercial auto policy.  Many, many companies do not have the correct limits.  Why?  It is cheaper to operate that way and they think can get away with it.  We recently tried to work with a local company that has a lot of sedans and limos in town.  We got his company's insurance certificate listing us as a certificate holder as we are supposed to do - guess what?  He only has $1 million policy!  And he is running a 24 passenger party bus!

Accidents happen - there was a party bus accident on 10/12/09 in Scottsdale where the party bus actually flipped when they were hit by a drunk driver.  9 were injured - one passenger was in critical condition.  So even if you think - well who cares - the company will be safe and the driver of the party bus is straight and sober - accidents do happen!  Other passengers on the road are who you often have to be wary of!  And you need that peace of mind that in the event of an accident, your medical bills and time away from work will be covered.

3.  Tour the party bus in the daylight on the company's lot.  This way you know that the company you are booking with actually owns the party bus.  Some companies just market limos and party buses and don't actually own the vehicles.  So you are paying a mark-up fee when you book with them.

When you tour the company's vehicles you can see that the party bus is in good condition with working amenities - and will give you assurance that you will have a fun night in a beautiful party bus.

"I have to think about it" - or "I have to talk this over with my spouse"

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Really?  Really? For real?  You have to talk it over with your spouse to book a $55 ride to the airport?  It kind of cracks me up.  You have to get permission to spend $55??  Just be honest and say that you got a quote that is $5 cheaper somewhere else and we will see what we can do to match it.  Maybe we can't - but at least give us the chance by being honest and not using the "have to talk to my spouse" excuse.

I swear that if I had to ask my spouse if I could spend $55 - or $555 I would go crazy!  I work too hard earning money for my family.  I'm 38 years old - if I had to get "permission" to spend money I would go ballistic!  I understand it is tough economic times and a lot of families are working with budgets.  But come on - a $55 expense??

I saw this You Tube video about Robert De Niro going crazy when prospective customers tell him they have to "think about it" and died laughing.  Sometimes you feel that way.  Most times I have patience and sympathy and work hard to earn people's business.

But this video is a crack up. . .

I have to think it about it video

Just 2 Drinks and a DUI!

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

He thought he would be okay - he only had two drinks.  Then waited at the bar for two hours before driving.  No way would be be caught for a DUI.  But he rolled through a stop sign rather than coming to a full and complete stop.  Those red and blues flashing in his rear view mirror and damn going through his mind as he pulled over.

He was arrested taken into the horseshoe and booked on DUI charges.  It doesn't matter if you aren't above the legal limit - if your driving is impaired - and the cops can prove it is from breaking a traffic law (the rolling stop) - then you are busted.

DUI - you can't afford it - it is not worth it.  If you drink - even just a few - don't get behind the wheel!  Or rent a sedan, SUV or limo.

DUI you can't afford it

Girls Night Out - plan your ride or a DUI

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Girl's night outWhoo Hoo it is girl's night - whether it is a bachelorette party or a birthday celebration.  No boys are invited.  Just the group of girls for a night of gossip, giggles and lip gloss.

You know it!  You-all will get a attention - boys love to look at a group of lovely ladies.  They may be too intimidated to come up to the group - but there will be lots of looks and lots of flirting!

But wait. . . . before you head out - figure out who will be the designated driver, book some hotels rooms at a place within walking (or stumbling) distance, or order Scottsdale limo service or a Tempe party bus because women have a MUCH harder time processing alcohol than men.

Women have less of a key enzyme that breaks down alcohol in the stomach.  Which leads to more DUI arrests for women than men.  Then there is the issue of birth control - taking oral contraceptives increases the concentration of alcohol levels much faster in women.

So for those fun and crazy Girl's Night Out remember that women are much more likely to get a DUI than men and figure out your ride situation BEFORE you head out to avoid the nightmare of a DUI!

P.S. - Don't forget that we have a relationship with a lot of the clubs in Scottsdale, Tempe and Phoenix for VIP service!
