Take and Arizona Limousine to this Iconic Bar-Coach House

There are some bars in town that are institutions.  Historical, iconic, been around forever.  Coach House in Scottsdale at 70th Street and Indian School is one of those historical places.  They have been around since 1959 - just celebrated 51 years in business!  Amazing - this is the oldest tavern in the Valley.

Coach House is truley a hole-in-the-wall hangout is possibly the only place left where you'll be out of place ordering a Cosmo, or anything else that contains more than two ingredients.  If you are a down-to-earth crowd taking our Arizona Limousine - we recommend a stop at Coach House!

The Coach House is the kind of place where you feel like a regular when you've been there just five minutes. Best time of day to go? Just about anytime. They open at 6 a.m., and day drinkers are not pariahs here. Best time of the year to go, even though they're open 365 days, is around the holidays for its famous (or infamous) indoor/outdoor mega-watt light display, which probably can be seen from space.

Any Arizona Limousine pub crawl or night-on-the-town woundn't be complete without visiting this Valley icon - Coach House.

Greasewood Flats - fun destination in AZ limos and Phoenix party buses!

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Take an AZ limo or Phoenix party bus to Greasewood Flats!

Sometimes our clients ask us for some suggestions for fun places to go as a group for their birthdays, nights-on-the-town (especially when you have guests in from out-of-town) or day-on-the-town - one place that we suggest is Greasewood Flats.

Housed in a 120+-year-old bunkhouse, Greasewood Flat has been in business for over 30 years. The elevation is 2000 feet above the valley floor making the night air 10 degrees cooler. Greasewood has served up hearty burgers and some wicked libations to Cowboys, Bikers, Locals, and Tourists alike.

The seating area is outdoors. You come out, Stake your claim on the picnic tables then enjoy the cold drinks, some good food, live music under the stars and the warm and toasty campfires-weather permitting.

Greasewood Flats can seat up to a 1000 people, we also have private areas for birthday parties, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners or whatever your need to celebrate might be.

Greasewood Flat is open everyday 11am to 1am. We stop serving food at 10pm on Weeknights and 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

So imagine a beer garden, complete with rows and rows of picnic tables, but on the set of a Western movie. Cue up a band playing Waylon Jennings' and Willie Nelson's "Luckenbach, Texas." Add in fire barrels, horseshoes, wagon wheels, a couple of roosters, some donkeys and a dance floor where all ages sway and jump to the beat.

Greasewood Flat is an experience for tourists, locals and bikers alike who come for the sheer novelty. People pile their empties into plastic trash cans and listen for their number to be called so they can eat bacon green chili cheeseburgers and chilidogs out of paper baskets. Don't get fancy with your drink, either: Lines snake out the door of the claustrophobic "bar" (more like a counter where you order and then high-tail it back outside), and you bark out your order on demand as soon as you belly up.

Info: 27375 N. Alma School Pkwy., Scottsdale; 480-585-9430, greasewoodflat.net

Of course you don't want to drink and drive when you head out to Greasewood Flats so rent an AZ limo or Phoenix party bus when yo plan your next party!

Ahhh the smell of popcorn in the air, the hot dogs, the beer.  Let's play ball!  Spring training time is upon us in Phoenix.

The 2010 Spring Training exhibition schedule begins on March 3 and continues through April 5, 2010. The Cactus League is proud to welcome a new Major League Baseball team for the 2010 season - the Cincinnati Reds.

Whether you're visiting from out of state or a local resident it is great to go check at the games at the Ballpark. With our fan friendly venues, there's no better place to enjoy a game than at one of our 11 stadiums in nine cities throughout the state.

Many fans in the past have been surprise to see those red and blue lights flashing in the rear view mirror when they leave the ball field.  And experience that panic when thinking about how many beers were downed at the game. . .

Be smart, plan ahead and book round trip transfers in AZ limos, Scottsdale Towncars or chauffeured SUVs by calling us or using our on-line quote system for chauffeured transportation.

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

You can't get any better than that south-of-the-border vibe without the airplane flight, going through customs (did I mention the swine flu and the scary drug cartels that are especially on the border towns like Rocky Point).  Yep I will take my Mexico - Rocky Point-style beach shack right here in the good-old USA - right at San Felipes Cantina!

With two locations now - one at Tempe Marketplace and one at Desert Ridge - San Felipes Cantina is the laid-back party spot!  With 110 tequilas, a 36-ounce fishbowl margarita (to share) and a late-night menu that involves the word munchies. It's like being on college spring break in Mexico, only you don't need a passport. The bar hosts bar-top dancing contests. It's that type of place.

Dinner is served until 10 p.m., when the tables start getting used as dance platforms. Day drinking is encouraged at the Baja Happy Hour from 4 to 7 p.m., with $2 Mexican beers, $3 house margaritas and half-off appetizers every day.

There is never a cover charge and each night has a different theme like Industry Night Mondays with $3 well and draft drinks, 2-Fer Tuesday 2-4-1 Mexican Draft Beers from 10pm to close, $3 drafts and live music at the Tempe location on Wednesday, THERsty THERsdays ladies night with great-cheap specials, and Fri/Sat/Sun this place becomes a rockin dance club (well dancing on the bar) after 10pm!

San Felipes is a great - casual - fun place especially popular with the under 30 crowd wearing flip flops and t-shirts!  Don't forget to book a safe sedan fSan Felipe clubor your ride home after drinking all night!

Vegas Trip! Hottest Vegas Club count-down!

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Just a short drive away from Phoenix are some of the finest clubs in the nation - in Sin City - Vegas baby!  These are some of the best, most luxurious, awesome and opulent and, most important, filled-with-beautiful-people-clubs you will find!

1.  PURE Caesars Palace - posh nightclub that is a celebrity magnet with it's this two-story, 36,000-square-foot venue with three rooms. The main room has three bars, a dance floor and beds on which to lounge. The secluded Red Room hosts VIPs and is decorated with cozy booths, chandeliers and flowing drapery. A staircase and glass elevator lead guests to the Terrace, offering private cabanas, dance floor and sweeping Strip views.

2.  Body English at Hard Rock - only the most fashionable get to pass into these doors without VIP service.  41 tables upstairs and down with a bar dressed in lavish leathers, rich dark woods and a vintage $250,000 Baccarat chandelier above a massive dance floor.  Gorgeous waitresses in their best lingerie, celebrity DJs, beautiful people, and tales of rock and roll decadence have earned Body English a well-deserved reputation for hosting Las Vegas' best parties and events.  Open Wed, Fri-Sun.

3.  Light at Bellagio - Light is by far Vegas' hottest, most posh and most exclusive nightclub. It's upscale and elegant interior offer a large dance floor and a lot of room to mingle. If you're a guy, don't expect to get into the club quickly unless your on the list. Dress to impress because Light has been known to turn away some true A-listers for not having proper attire. Open Thurs-Sun.

4.  Studio 54 at MGM Grand - This 22,000 square-foot, high-energy club features dancers twirling on trapeze swings above the bouncing dance floor and confetti raining down on the dance floor.   A modern interpretation of the original Studio 54, featuring state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting, live dancers and chart-topping dance music.  Open Tues - Sat.

5.  Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay - the most exclusive venue in Las Vegas. Boasting an $8 million dollar build out it has been the most sought after room since its inception.  The Foundation Room is a members-only venue with a $2000 annual fee to be allowed to get on the elevator taking you 43 floors up. Designed with authentic hand crafted artifacts imported from India and Tibet it plays host to the most lavish of parties.

6.  Rain at Palms - Expect long lines of starry-eyed, friendly tourists.  A dance floor surrounded by a water mote, go-go dancers on swings and the occasional fire blast make this a hot destination! The club is a deceptively large at 25,000 square feet, but the main room's relatively small, elevated dance floor steals the show. Loud pulsating beats of house, hip-hop and Top-40 mixes and plenty of VIP tables and skyboxes make the night complete.  Open Fri-Sat.

7.  JET at Mirage - this mega-club boasts three main areas, a techno and trance floor a hip-hop room, and the main room which features the all important VIP tables.  A one-of-a-kind light and laser grid, state-of-the-art cryogenic effects systems and the absolute best sound design technology available puts JET in a class of its own and on the leading edge.  Open Mon & Fri-Sat.

8.  Moon Playboy Club at Palms - The Playboy Club has its bunnies, while Moon has its views - a retractable ceiling opens up to the night sky every half hour for a 53 story high from the Palms Fantasy Towers.

9.  TAO at the Venetian - the entry halls sets the tone here, it usually features a display of lingerie-clad models painting henna tattoos on one another.  The nude model in the rose petal strewn bathtub is another giveaway - this is a sexy escape!  This 10,000 square foot nightclub is for those craving a high energy, DJ driven atmosphere.  Tao Nightclub boasts a 40 foot long outside terrace with stunning views of the Las Vegas strip, gorgeous go-go dancers, state-of-the-art audio and lighting systems, and two main rooms, The Temple and The Emperors Ball Room, each featuring varying music formats. Open Thur-Sat.

10.  Tryst at Wynn - Tryst boasts a 90-foot waterfall and a lagoon-themed atmosphere.  Since it's a partially open-air club, the outside breeze gives the dancers at Tryst a little extra lift.  The most desirable tables are those on the dance floor, near the stripper poles - of course!  Open Thur - Sat.

Of course you need a way to get to Vegas - so hop on one of our awesome party buses!  We lowered our prices for our Vegas Trips!

Do you agree with the hottest club count-down?  Do you have any experiences - good or bad with these clubs?  Let us know!!

Tucson Limo Service from In The Scene Limousine

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

We are excited to begin offering limo and party bus service for the Tucson area - along with other areas outside of Metro Phoenix!  This includes areas of service like Tucson, Prescott, Flagstaff, Sedona, etc.

Instead of charging high hourly prices from the time we leave our office in Tempe, AZ to the time we return (often called garage-to-garage charges) - we are only setting our minimum hours a bit higher than in-town runs.  So for example in the Phoenix area we normally have a 3 hour minimum during the day and 4-6 hour minimum on Friday and Saturday nights.  In Tucson, Prescott, Flagstaff, etc. we will have at least a 5 hour minimum.  And we've increased our hourly rates just a bit over what we charge in Phoenix.

We think this will help increase the options for clients and prospective clients that live in those areas outside of Phoenix.  We know that party buses and Hummer limos are pretty scarce in smaller towns like Prescott and hope that more people in those areas will take advantage of our lower pricing!

Tucson Limo Service is now just a phone call away to 520-300-8525!  Hummer limos starting at only $115 per hour - not bad!

4th of July is here again in Phoenix, AZ - what to do?  Join the masses and head out of town?  Not a bad idea since it is projected to be 101 degrees according to Weather.com in Phoenix, AZ!

Check out our Turn Around Trips In Limos and head to Las Vegas to sip some cocktails poolside at the casinos and then later, hit the nightlife - clubs and gambling.  Or go to San Diego or Los Angeles for cooler weather and more family activities - Disney, Sea World, etc. all are great options.  Or even just hanging out on the beach watching fireworks - that is what we are doing!  San Clemente, CA and bar-b-que with family here we come!

If you want to stay closer to home, a great option is the Wine Tour to Granite Creek Vineyard.  It will be a high of 86 degrees in Chino Valley on the 4th of July.  Spend the day with your family and friends - enjoying the beauty of this organic vineyard, sip some wine - eat great food, watch the peacocks, the live music and shop at the Farmer's Market.

Of course there is always Arizona's floating picnic at the 4th of July pictureSalt River.  There will be live music and fireworks on the 4th of July!  We have great - safe transportation to the Salt River for tubing

Then there are always the old stand-bys of fireworks in town.  About.com has a listing of 4th of July events in town.  If you want to enjoy some cocktails afterward, at the club or at a bar-b-que or party at friend's house, just make sure to designate a driver or get a limo/SUV/sedan!

Clubs in Scottsdale - hottest of the new hot spots

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

We just hung out with an un-employed-and-not-seriously-looking-for-a-job friend the other night.  For her - it is a job to go out every night.  She's 22 - and Mom and Dad help her out with living expenses - so I'll give her a break.  She is young and having fun!

But literally - for her it is a job - sleep all day - get up around 6-9pm - eat, work out, and get ready to hit the clubs and after hours parties.  Go out from 11pm to maybe 5am - maybe 9am if it is a fun after-hours party.  Then back to bed.  Then wake up to do it all over again.  The only exception is Sunday - when you just don't go to bed at all - you just stay up and party at the pools at hotels like the Mondrian or W Hotel - frozen daiquiris anyone?

So I would call her an expert to what is hot right now in Scottsdale, AZ.    She had an agenda of the hot-spots in Scottsdale of all the new clubs:

MONDAY - Zuma, Crown room and Cream Stereo Lounge
TUESDAY - ACME then Dirty Pretty
WEDNESDAY - American Junkie
THURS - Jackrabbit Supper Club and Cream Stereo Lounge
FRIDAY - Anywhere is fun and busy!
SATURDAY - Shade bar at the W Hotel
SUNDAY - Martini Ranch and then Pussycat Lounge

Clubs in Scottsdale logo

We are in the process of contacting all these new hot spots and getting VIP service for all our clients.  Check out our VIP Clubs page to see what we have arranged special for our clients only when you book limo, SUV limo or party bus service with us!

Anybody have any more clubs you want us to get VIP status at?  Any suggestions to add to the list or reviews of clubs?  I need to know what is hot in Tempe - anyone?

Fun things to do in Scottsdale in 6/09? Avoid DUIs though!

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook | Submit to Digg digg it |  Add to delicious  delicious |  Submit to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

To say that drinking a partying are a favorite past-time in Scottsdale, AZ is an understatement.  Any town where you have a store front for a DUI attorney right in the heart of the Old Town Scottsdale area - where all the bars and nightclubs are - gives you a clue that partying is serious business.  A couple of upcoming events caught my eye as I skimmed through the latest 944 magazine that I'm sure will be off-the-hook!

944 Poolside Sundays - Mondrian Scottsdale - 6/21 and 6/28/09 - Hot DJs - even hotter women in bikinis.  This bash on Sunday will be a blast with some of the best looking people - cool vibe - and best way to recover from Saturday night's festivities.

Grand Opening Weekend of Angels & Outlaws - 6/28 & 6/29/09 - This will be the newest nightclub in North Scottsdale located in the old Minx space off of Shea & 69th Street - this will be the newest place to see and be-scene!

Dress to impress - although I'm sure in your bathing suit you will impress!  When you enjoy those cocktails - remember that In The Scene Limousine provides sedan transfers for as low at $45 and that you can get a limo or party bus for as little as $370 for 4 hours of service on a Saturday night!
